Stephen Colbert pays Pomann Sound a visit

If you're pop culture nerds like us, I'm sure you watched some of the 66th Emmys last week. Stephen Colbert, who presented for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Mini Series or Movie, came in to record his nominations. So technically, Pomann Sound made it to the Emmys...so thats pretty cool. All joking aside, we couldn't have been happier for Colbert who won for Outstanding Variety Series...and thats, the word!

Im on a Boat!

As many of you now know, Pomann Sound recently received a first place Radio Mercury Award and a first place Jersey Award for our New York and New Jersey Lottery campaigns. As a token of our appreciation we took advantage of the nice weather and had DDB C.D. Scott Cooney and Brushfire head creative director Ken Musto out on the official boat of Pomann Sound...The Sound Wave. We thought being out on the Hudson would be neutral territory for both parties. Take a look at some of the pictures below, to see more check us out on Instagram @pomannsound

Leguizamo Pays Pomann a Visit

John Leguizamo hasn't been to Pomann since he recorded the voice of Sid the Sloth for the movie Ice Age. Over ten years later the guy still hasn't missed a beat. Still funny as hell, Bob and John got to catch up during a break in recording for a new animated feature he's currently working on.

Holler If Ya Hear Me

A few weeks ago Pomann Sound got the opportunity to record the pit orchestra during rehearsal for the upcoming musical "Holler If Ya Hear Me". Inspired by the music of Tupac Shakur, the whole cast was at Premier Studios as we laid down vocals for three songs that were all mixed at Pomann Sound by Justin Kaupp. To see a sneak peak, check out this behind the scenes video of us recording at Premier Sound, the same studio Tupac recorded at... #chills
